Hurray, the weekend! I always work on Sunday, but I still love the extra time that Alberto is home. And tomorrow is the pinnacle of my cleanse– juice day! The last time I tried a juice fast, I lasted 2 hours.
We are going to see this over the weekend.
But I also can’t wait to see this. The trailer reminds me of how complete strangers can be extraordinarily and unexpectedly kind when you’re somewhere foreign to you. It’s wonderful to see a young, thoughtful female leading this film. I wish Adam Driver wasn’t on the poster (nothing against him, but why do we need a female to be romantically involved with someone to sell this film?)
I for one can’t wait to read Lena Dunham’s book. Count me in. And I absolutely love Ask Lena, in fact I’ve watched them all at least twice. I like that girl, and I love how genuine she is in these clips.
Any fans of Mr. Bean? This will give you a good laugh.
I loved this short with Kirsten Dunst. You know I like a good selfie, but…
I just bought tickets to see this show at St. Ann’s Warehouse in Dumbo. In college I studied for a semester abroad in London, and saw just about 1 show every day that I was there. It was transformative and really opened my eyes to what theatre can be. Especially Kneehigh’s production of Tristan and Yseult at the little Cottesloe Theatre at the National. It’s one of the few productions that I’ve seen more than once, because it made such a big impact on me at the time, I enjoyed it so much, that I didn’t want to forget it. I even have a framed picture of one of their production stills hanging in my room. I am over the moon that the tour is coming to Brooklyn.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
